Description
National Women's Lacrosse Championship, Los Angeles Coliseum, 6 February 1926. The image shows four women battling on the field with a referee close by. In the background are empty seats in the stadium. A typed caption taped onto the bottom of the obverse gives details, including that the game was played between a Los Angeles team (in black) and a Pasadena team (in white) with the former winning. There are penciled inscriptions, a date stamp, and a stamp from the publisher, International Newsreel. With many creases, soiling, edge rubbing and other wear, the condition is fair.
