Color: Black; Blue; Red; White; Yellow "Nature Magazine," December 1928 issue (Vol. 12, No. 6), published by the American Nature Association. On the front cover is the title in large black letters, below which are three vertical panels--the two on the side show poinsettia leaves and greenish plant leaves, while the main center panel shows a blue and gray bird on a tree with snow-covered branches. The background of the panels is a pale yellow. At the bottom are the price, issue date, volume and number, and the name of the artist. On the inside front cover are news of interest. Articles include such topics as wild cats, such as tigers, lions, leopards, and cheetahs; poinsettias; birds; desert tortoises; oak trees; under the earth's surface; stars; gardening; and regular features. Most of these articles are illustrated with black and white photographs, though there are some color drawings, as well. At the front and back are many advertisements. The artifact is in good condition, though there are some creases; dents; light soiling, small stains, and small edge tears on the cover, and some page yellowing.
