On the top of the front cover is the title in large yellow letters and at the bottom are the issue date, volume, and number. An image of a farmed grouping of flowers on a black background over a scene of a farmhouse with a red roof and what may be a greenhouse spans the cover. Articles include such topics as wild, large cats; filming beavers on then Continental Divide; fiction; spiders; roses; grizzly bears; birds; insects; forests; marshes; fishing; and a section on gardening. The magazine is well illustrated with black and white photographs, though there are some color drawings, as well. At the front and back are many advertisements. The artifact is in good condition, though there are some creases, discoloration of pages, some small cover losses, and minor stains and tears on the cover.Lexicon
