Description

Color: Black; Blue; Orange; White "Nature Magazine," November 1928 issue (Vol. 12, No. 5), published by the American Nature Association. On the front cover is the title in large black letters, below which are the issue date, volume, and number. A silhouetted image of two birds perched in a tree with a light blue sky and large orange moon in the background covers the rest of the front, although the price and artist's name (George Reinbold) are at the bottom left and right, respectively. On the inside front cover are news of interest. Articles include such topics as lepers in Hawaii; insects; owls; beach shells; fur seals; wild plants; hints for home gardening; and turtles. Most of these articles are illustrated with black and white photographs, though there are some color drawings, as well. At the front and back are many advertisements. The artifact is in good condition, though there are some creases, light soiling, folds, and small edge tears on the cover, and some page yellowing.
