Description

Color: Blue A pair of navy blue suspenders, ca. 1920s. The item is made of two lengths of elastic webbing with a herringbone pattern joined by a metal link attached to two clasps on the lengths. An inch or so away are two adjustment slides on the fabric, whie at each end are the clasps that attach to the trouser with button loops. Although there is a patent number on the end clasps and an art-deco like pattern, there is no indicator of manufacturer on the piece, which is in good condition with minor abrasions on the metal clasps and some darkening on the elastic fabric.
