Description
Navy personnel marching in formation during a Los Angeles parade, 4 May 1918. The soldiers are in at least five, and perhaps more, detachments, and a small group of three men carries and accompanies the American flag. Throngs of observers crowd the sidewalks on either side of the downtown thoroughfare and portions of buildings, some decorated with American flags are in view. The date is inscribed at the upper right corner. With some light soiling, minor edge rubbing, and a tape-repaired tear,the condition is fair.
