Color: Blue; White
A restringing set for pearl necklaces, ca. 1920s. A silk string is wrapped around four tabs at the top front of a blue card. Printed at the center of the tabs is "COMBINATION NECKALCE / RE-STRINGING OUTFIT / WITH / BARREL SCREW CLASP." At the center of the card is an illustration of a woman from the neck up. Her hair is bobbed and she wears a three-tiered pearl necklace. At the left of the illustration is "BRAIDED / SILK." At the right is "LENGTH / 72 / INCHES." Across the bottom are the words "MADE IN U.S.A / FOR RE-STRINGING / ALL STYLE PEARL NECKLACES." With light abrasions on the corners of the card; small creases and dents; light soiling; a small stain; and a small tear on the paper, the object is in good condition overall.
