NEGATIVE STRIP--LA CASA NUEVA GUEST ROOM AND BATH AND HOUSEKEEPERS ROOM
Color: Black; White
A negative strip with six exposures of the La Casa Nueva Guest Bedroom, Guest Bathroom and Housekeeper's Bedroom, taken by Don Short, spring 1999. The first two exposures are of the Guest Bedroom, as it functioned as the office for the Collections Department, taken from the east and west. The next two views are of the adjoining bathroom, also from east and west, while the sixth images is of the Housekeeper's Bedroom, serving as the Public Programs Office, taken from the hallway door. These are general views with furnishings and architectural elements, such as doors and windows, usually notable. Both the Guest Bedroom and Housekeeper's Bedroom have office furnishings, rather than the items exhibited when the rooms were open to the public. Covered with blankets in the Guest Bedroom, however, is much of the exhibit furniture and a bed is in the adjacent bathroom. In mint condition, there is no wear or damage on the artifact.
