Description
NEGATIVE STRIP OF PHOTOS OF ANDREW BOYLE AND HIS REMODELED HOME
Color: Black; White
A strip negative with six images of Andrew A. Boyle and his remodeled homes. Exposures 32-33 are of Boyle's house, as it appeared in about 1910 after remodeling by Boyle's grandson, William H. Workman, Jr. The view of the two-story Italianette structure is from a wide lawn at the front. The other exposures, 34-37, are a studio portrait in an oval paper frame of Boyle, ca. 1860s. Exposures 32 and 34 were printed and are items 1.1 and 1.22 of this accession. As a newly-made artifact, the strip is in mint condition.
