Description

Nelly and two others posed in a garden, possibly at the Didier family residence ca. 1920s. Nelly is on the right with an unidentified young boy and woman. Nelly is slightly bent over trying to steady a young boy in front of her. She wears a short sleeved, white dress with a bow tied, a pleated skirt, stockings, and heels. The boy appears to be five years old and wears a sailor suit. He is facing the right and the lady in front of him, so only his side profile is visible. The lady facing him, presumably his mother or other relative is trying to to straighten out his pants. The woman wears her hair in a short bob and styled in a marcel wave, same as Nelly. She also wears a short sleeved dress that has pleats. The trio stand in a garden. In view is a well manicured grass lawn, concrete path lined with bushes, and other trees and a small gazebo in the background. The photograph has "VELOX" and "88" stamps on the reverse. It is in good condition overall
