Description
NEW NORTH WALL OF EL CAMPO SANTO UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Color: Brown; Green
A color polaroid photograph of the construction of the new north walll of El Campo Santo, ca. June 1977. Taken from the northeast, the view shows the wall about one-quarter completed and a section being finished at left, where a gap shows the work to be done. Though dark, it appears that the landscaping near the wall on the inner side of the cemetery was recently planted. Parts of two trees inside the grounds are seen at left. In the background is the field looking toward the historic area, including the Workman House, garage, and El Encanto Convalescent Home. An inscription in blue ink at the bottom of the artifact reads "New Brick Wall - Cemetery." With little indication of wear or damage, the object is in good condition.
