Description
Newspaper clippings, "Southland Leaders to Attend Mission Play," ca. 1940s. Three newspaper clippings nonprofessionally adhered to a page. The leftmost clipping shows an article regarding The Mission Play's 22nd season, which would have been in 1947. The author summarizes details about the upcoming performance, names some of the cast, and states that it will be attended by celebrities and civic officials. Another clipping shows a captioned photograph of three actors from the play: William Eddy, Carolina Lopez, and Maria Vasquez. The last clipping is another portion of the article. With moderate discoloration and minor tears in the supporting paper, the object is in fair condition overall.
