Gower a sugar cane grower from Hawaii. At the bottom left and right corners on the front page are illustrations depicting what seems to be the history of the town during the cattle ranching days and people relocating to settle in the area. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Other features in the newspapers include an article pertaining to the the bank staff with photos of them, investment and real estate opportunities, advertisements of local businesses and more. The newspaper is in good condition though light fading, discoloration and embrittlement are present as well as a deep, horizontal crease from folding.
