A nine-piece jazz band by Witzel Studios, Los Angeles, 1920s. The members of the unidentified band, wearing formal wear, are posed around a collection of instruments, including clarinets, saxophones, a trumpet, a trombone, a banjo, a tuba, and drums. The photographer's mark is at the lower left and a stamp with the studio's name and three locations in Los Angeles is at the reverse. Aside from edge bumping, light soiling, and minor discoloration, the condition is good.Lexicon
