Description

"No. 180. East Lake Park, Los Angeles, Cal.," by Garden City Foto Co., Los Angeles, ca. 1901. The image shows a widedirt path, flanked by lawns, in which are planted rows of palm trees. At the right is a hose with two sprinklers to water the lawn. At the edges and in the distance are some taller trees. The park is now Lincoln Park, which was given that name in 1917. With some heavy soiling, including on the image, and a slight curvature of the mount, the overall condition is fair.
