Description
"No. 266 Spring St. Looking North From 3rd St., Los Angeles, Cal." Garden City Foto Co., ca. 1898. The image shows a busy street with pedestrians, a streetcar, and horse-drawn conveyances. On either side are commercial structures with power poles along the sidewalks. Some signage on buildings and free-standing ones along the sidewalk are also of note. The caption, including the lower case "Spring St.," is at the bottom. On the reverse is the photographer's cartouche. With some stains and soiling, creases, and rubbing on the mount, but the image quite clean, the overall condition is good.
