"No. 32 Pasadena San Gabriel Valley Cal," ca. 1890. The panoramic view appears to be taken form the hills near today's Monterey Park looking north towards modern Alhambra, South Pasadena, Pasadena and other areas to the San Gabriel Mountains. Of note, to the right of center below the the mountains is the Raymond hotel. The scene is largely rural in the foreground with houses scattered among farm plots and open fields with settlement getting denser closer to Pasadena. The title is in black at the lower right of the photo, but there isn't an artist's name. With small missing portions and edge rubbing to the mount and some soiling and stains throughout, the condition is fair.
