Description

A cabinet card photograph, "No. 456 Dr. Taylor's Home at Lincoln Park," South Pasadena, probably William Graham, ca. 1898. The view shows the two-story shingle-sided house with Tudor-style ornamentation at the attic level at the base of oak-covered hills. The structure is largely obscured by a profusion of flowering vines, perhaps roses, at the front and, especially, the side facing the photographer, with vines on the roof, as well. Lincoln Park in South Pasadena is in the city's northwest section near Garvanza. The photo is mounted onto an album paper with photo .8 on the other side. With some curvature, warping, and light soiling, the condition is good.
