PHOTOGRAPH, CABINET CARD, "NO. 51. SCENE ON ADAMS STREET, LOS ANGELES, CAL.," by Garden City Foto Co., Los Angeles, 1897. The view shows a woman standing near a planter bed at the end of a driveway lined with yucca trees. Roses, palms, and other plantings are in abundance and, in the background, there are some structures. The caption is at the bottom and there is an inscription in ink on the reverse reading "No 12 Adams Street / Los Angelos / 1897 / W.H.S." as well as preprinted information about the studio with address and telephone number. With minor stains and soiling, a very slight curvature of the mount, and corner and edge wear, the condition is good.Lexicon
