Description

Color: Blue; Red; Yellow A noisemaker, manufactured by Kirchhof, ca. 1928. The item is largely flat and has a handle with geometric patterns on the front. A rounded end has groups of three dots, two blue and one white. At the center is a blue round field with a red border. Within this is a smiling clown. A thin metal strip attached at the handle end has a red wooden ball at the end and this rests against the clown's nose. On the reverse is another metal strip and ball, so that when the item is shaken both balls rattle against the noisemaker. The reverse side is painted a solid yellow. On one side of the handle is the manufacturer's name and place of business, along with the phrase "'Life of the Party' / PRODUCTS." Although the item is bent at the rounded end and there are scratches and dents, the overall condition is good.
