Description

Color: Black; Red; White; Yellow A noisemaker, manufactured by Kirchhof, ca. 1928. The item has two curved metal pieces, one red and the other yellow, joined together with the red piece at the top. On it is an image of five women in black and white tuxedo outfits (though with short skirts) dancing. Yellow stars, symbols of musical notes, and a blue and white floral-like design are also in this image. At the top of this portion is a 2 1/4" wide opening with rounded ends, through which the sound emanates. Inside is a ball that rattles when the item is shaken. A faded red wooden handle protrudes from the main body. On a section of the red top is the company name and place of business with the phrase "MADE IN U.S.A." Although there are remnants of adhesive on the top, the faded color on the handle, and scratches throughout, the overall condition is good.
