Description
NORTH CEMETERY WALL RESTORATION, A SECTION COMPLETED
Color: Blue; Red
A color polaroid photograph of the restoration of the north wall with a section probably just completed, ca. March 1977. Taken from inside the cemetery and looking to the northeast, the image shows part of the wall from one pillar to another, perhaps eight to ten feet in length. All work seems to be completed including the installation of the metal balls at the top of the pillars. About a half-dozen bricks appear to be damaged, leading to the assumption that these were older bricks from another site transplanted for use at the cemetery. The foreground next to the wall is barren of landscaping, as is the field in the background. In the far distance is Industry Hills or Puente Hill. With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
