Description
NORTH CEMETERY WALL RESTORATION, TEST PANEL ACID WASH
Color: Blue; Red
A color polaroid photograph of the restoration of the north wall after a tested section was acid washed, 15 March 1977. Taken from inside the cemetery and looking to the northwest, the image shows part of the wall from the corner meeting the original west wall to about ten to fifteen feet to the east. Most of this section has been acid washed and looks much cleaner than the small portion at far right that was not yet washed. On top of the wall is a level and a brick. In the foreground, at left, is part of a tree trunk and a flowering plant. In the background are two trucks, presumably owned by site craftspeople. An inscription in ink at the bottom of the object reads "Test Panel Acid Washed / 3/15/77." With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
