Description

Color: Black; White A black and white reproduction photograph of the northeast corner of La Casa Nueva, ca. 1927. This is a copy photograph of the original and the background from the copy work is visible. In the image, taken from the east side of the Mission Walkway, is the entrance to the Living Room, including the doors and the arched windows flanking it, which include the stained glass windows of Thomas and Agnes, before they were moved to the Main Hall. Upstairs is the french door off the balcony of the Master Bedroom. A portion of the roof and Living Room chimney are visible at the top. Note in the foreground that the sidewalk to the Living Room doors curves toward the dining room and that no walkway wraps around the corner of the house toward the front as it does today. A few small bushes and shrubs are around the house. With little indication of damage or wear, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
