"Not Far From O'Melvenys" probably March 1916. The image shows four or five horseback riders along the San Gabriel River with portions of the mountains and the river in the background. The reference is to a home built for Los Angeles attorney Henry W. O'Melveny in San Gabriel Canyon in 1898 and probably near Camp Rincon, near the river's west form, from which other images from this accession come. With some photo album paper residue on the reverse and with light soiling, the condition is good.
