"Notables of the Southwest," Press Reference Library, Southern Edition (Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Examiner,) 1912. The work consists of "the portraits and biographies of progressive men of the Southwest, who had helped in the development and history making of this wonderful country." There is an introductory essay, "Who They Are," after which the biographies begin. At the end is an index. The boards are loose are taped with duct tape, there are loose pages, and the binding is also weak, so the condition is poor.Lexicon
