Note, "Vegetable Talk," ca. 1920s-1940s. The note has a joke in letter format where a character named Lettuce (misspelled as "Lettice") writes about its experience looking for new furniture while using the names of other vegetables as puns. Another version of this joke appears on a separate note from this acquisition (Object ID: 2021.8.5.20), though that version does not have a title. With minor silverfish damage, a crease, and minor discoloration, and smudging, the object is in good to fair condition overall.
