OCEAN FRONT AREA AT VENICE, CALIFORNIA, ca. 1900.
This black and white lantern slide depicts a walkway at Venice Beach. Along the ornate facade of a building on the right stands a woman clutching a purse. Further back are other figures, men and women, possible coming from the trolley parked in the background. Above the people are hung strings of lightbulbs and presumably the word " VENICE," (though only "ICE" are visible in the shot). Slide is in good condition. A white, circular sticker is affixed to the corner of the slide.
