A photograph of an oil refinery in southern California, 1920s. The view is a closeup of five metal tanks encased in brick with an array of pipes running from the tanks to the refining equipment located behind them. On the ground in front of the tanks are several dozen people inspecting the apparatus. At the center of the reverse is a stamp from the photo developer and there is a number "376" stamped at the lower right. There are six other photographs of oil fields in this accession. With soiling, creases, stains, residue of mounting corners, and fingerprints marks, the general condition is good.
