Description
A real photo postcard, "Oil Well on Fire, Signal Hill, Near Long Beach, Cal," ca. 1920s. The image was taken at night and shows a very tall burst of flame coming from the well and smoke rising as well, but little else. A caption at the bottom in white lettering explains the scene. The overall condition of the unused card is good with some browning and minor abrasions along the edges.
