Description

OKEH RECORD SLEEVE FOR "THAT RHYTHM MAN / SWEET SAVANNAH SUE" Color: Blue; White A sleeve for the phonograph record "That Rhythm Man / Sweet Savannah Sue," by Louis Armstrong and His Orchestra, issued by Okeh Recording Corporation, New York, 1929. Both sides are identical in that they have blue lettering with the company name at the top center, listings on various types of music, including "RACE RECORDS: / Bot Blues and dance music." At the bottom center are the names of company offered needles and the company name and location. On both sides are pencil and ink inscriptions that seem to refer to famous jazz musicians who played on the record. With brittleness, creases, dents around the center hole, soiling, browning, flaking, stains, and tears, the condition is fair.
