Description

A colored postcard, "Old Adobe," published by Detroit Photographic Company, 1900. The unused card shows a portion of the decrepit structure, in what is presumed to be Los Angeles, with peeling plaster, exposed wood posts and a portico cover and tiled roof. In the foreground are what appear to be weeds. In the background left are portions of other structures and a hill, but the location is not known. On the reverse is a stamp box and an undivided area for address and message. With minor soiling, some edge rubbing, and a chipped corner, the condition is good.
