2004.67.1.1Description
Color: Black; White
A negative of the Old Plaza Church, Los Angeles, 1915. The image shows the front facade and some of the area surrounding it, taken from the Plaza across Main Street. On the street there are some automobiles. The church facade and bell tower are notable and to the north, on the right, the area is obscured by a palm tree. To the south, or left, are adjacent commercial buildings, including the Brunswig Drug Company main building and annex. There is also a water tank that is over the church in the background. At the left edge there is the handwritten inscription "Old Plaza Church." Aside from non-intrusive darkening, there are no signs of wear or damage, and the condition of the artifact is good.
