Description
A real photo postcard of one side and the front porch of the Sue M. Allison residence, Los Angeles, ca. 1910s. The Craftsman-style bungalow has interesting eaves and beams with upturned edges suggesting an Asian influence, as well as wood shingled siding, brick pilasters for the porch and thick casement windows. The side facing the photographer has a projecting middle section and there is a grass lawn in front. The house, at 154 S. St. Andrews Place, still stands with much of its architectural detailing intact. With some soiling and rubbing to the album paper on which the image is pasted down, the condition of the postally unused card is good.
