"One Tree Saves an Industry," by Victor W. Killick, from "Technical World" magazine, December 1913. The two-page article concerns an effort by A. R. Rideout from Whittier to budding trees affected by walnut blight to healthy ones found on the Chase ranch three miles south of the town. There are a few photo images, including the Chase immune tree and a new budded one. With holes from binding staples, edge browning and small creases, the condition is good overall.
