Description

A 78 rpm phonograph record, "Only a Smile" and "Somewhere a Voice is Calling" by Charles Harrison, Nordskog Phonograph Recording Company, Los Angeles, 1922. The A-side song was written by E. Edson and J. S. Zamecnik and the B-side by E. Newton and A. F. Tate. Harrison, a tenor, was accompanied by an orchestra. The Nordskog label was the first record label on the West Coast, founded at Santa Monica in 1921 but folded within two years after issuing 27 records. The condition appears to be good.
