A stereoscopic photograph titled "Orange groves San Gabriel Valley Ca," published by C. H. Graves and distributed by The Universal Photo Art Company, Philadelphia, 1900. At the bottom right is the title and the ID# 4100, along with the copyright in Graves' name and the year 1900. The image is from under an oak tree, of which some of the trunk, branches, and leaves frame the view of a large orange grove in the distance. There may be homes and other groves in the background, but it is difficult to discern. On the reverse is information on the orange industry from Graves' book "The World's Industries." Aside from minor corner rubbing, slight corner dents, minor surface soiling, and some small stains, the artifact is in good condition.
