Color: Brown; Peach; White "Oriental Stucco," issued by the United States Gypsum Company, ca. 1920s. The nine-page booklet has a brown paper cover with a tan border around the edges. At the top of the center is the title and below this within a square box is a drawing of a peach-colored arch with a door at the back. At the beginning of the inside is a foreword followed by explanations of stucco for architectural styles such as Spanish; Italian; English; Modern American; and Modern European. At the end is a section explaining materials and specifications. At the back is a fold-out with ten samples of the stucco with such names as Spanish, California Mission, and Modern Californian. Behind each are instructions to achieve the textures shown. With abrasions, small creases at the corners, and surface soiling, the artifact is in good condition overall.
