Color: Black; Silver
An electric hair clipper by Oster, ca. 1928. The item has a black bakelite body with a silver metal clipping attachment. Etched into this is the size (10), and model of "A2" as well as having the manufacturer's name. Below the clipping attachment is a gold-colored piece that has separate etched information, including a different model number "11," and providing voltage and wattage information. The lower part of the body is fluted and there are several screws and otehr fasteners. On the sides are two round projections with grooves, which may be for ease of handling. A silver plate at the bottom has the number "4013" on it. There is a metal clasp at the end, as well. Two curved vents are toward the top and several circular vents at the bottom. A silver metal switch is also on the bottom. A rubber-coated cord of several feet's length is attached and on the plug is the stamped name "Belden." With cracks and wear to the cord; grime; metal tarnish; a red paint on a small portion of the cord and scuffing, the overall condition is good.
