Outdoor picnic, Los Angeles, by Modern Photo Company, ca. 1910. The image showsabout two dozen people around a picnic table at a larger function. In the background are many trees suggestive of a location such as Griffith Park or Sycamore Grove, but the exact site is not known. The clothing indicates a date of between 1900 and 1910. Although there are some stains, soiling, and edge wear on the mount, the image is generally clean and the overall condition good.
