Color: Black; White
A business letter and pamphlet from P. A. Powers, Advertising Manager for the Benjamin Electric Manufacturing Company, to the Edward J. Hines Company, 5 May 1926. On the letterhead of the company with the name, logo and cities of business at the top and the main office address below and to the left, the missive, which is the front panel of four, accompanied the catalog that is item 1.1 and promotes the company's products, including fuse panels and cabinets. It is also a follow-up letter to item 2.1 and, because the name of the recipient is Hines, rather than Heine, which is on the first letter, it is assumed that the former spelling is correct. The inside two pages of the document is a promotion of the easy installation of the "Little Sentry" brand of panel with four main selling points to the product at the top. A photograph of the product and further information is at the bottom. On the fourth page are specifications, including catalog numbers, numbers of circuits, list prices, and cabinet dimensions for the 1-fuse and 2-fuse panel types, as well as wiring diagrams. The company name and addresses at the New York, Chicago, and San Francisco offices are at the bottom. Aside from a half-fold, a few small tears and a few small creases, the artifact is in good condition.Lexicon
