Photographs of the Pacific Southwest Exposition, Long Beach, California, 1928. There are two exterior photos (a and b) of the Pacific Southwest Exposition. a) A photos of a white building with an archway, dome, and spire. There are door ways on either side of the archway, with California flags above each door way. There are plants lining the walk ways and palm trees down the center of the walk way. There are also electric lights, with different county flags. Strung between the light poles are paper lanterns on rope. b) A photo taken from the shade of an archway looking on a field and other buildings. Toward the right is a round, open air, structure with a striped roof. Behind that is a rectangle building with a tower in the center. Throughout the grass are banner poles with the US flag on top and strung between the poles are paper lanterns on rope. Both photos were once in a photo album, as black paper is still attached. Both photos are also labeled Pan American Expo Long Beach 1925 Pacific Southwest Expo 1928 Long Beach. However, research indicates that these are from the Pacific Southwest Expo in 1928. Both objects are in good condition overall.
