A packing list, issued for a Montgomery Ward & Company catalog, 1921. The brown paper sheet has the name of the company across the center of the top. At the center are many lines for the changes in price; inspection check; article number; price; amount paid; and amount charged. The first line of the latter is filled. Below these are areas for the checker and wrapper's initials as well as the department division number. There are initials under the checker, but they are not legible. At the left and center of the bottom are rectangular boxes for the railroad classification and additional remarks. Down the right are blank lines for order, shipping, and mailing charges. All of the printing is in black ink. The artifact was found with a catalog which is item .1, and another packing list which is .2. With creases; darkening of the paper; folds; holes; acid burns; a loss at the top of the center; and tears, the object is in poor condition.
