Color: Black; White
A color photograph of a painting of F. P. F. Temple, ca. 1850s. Placed with a matte and an oval window, the painting shows Mr. Temple in a upper-torso view, with a dark-colored suit, white shirt and dark tie. He also has a tie or stick pin on his shirt just below the tie, which is like a bow-tie. The background is also painted a dark color, probably brown, and there appears to be no artist's signature, although light from a flash gives a whitish appearance to the bottom and may obscure the signature, if there was one. With little indication of wear or damage, the object is in good condition.
