A framed oil painting on canvas of a bearded man, ca. 1876. The oil painting shows a long bearded man wearing a high collared white shirt with a black bow tie and jacket. He is painted looking to the right. Toward the subject's right shoulder is the name of the artist and year, "Petrovits/1876." Inscription on the back states that the painting was treated by a conservator. With only minor creases, some dust on surface, patch repair work on the backing, wire hanger attached on reverse, it is in good condition overall.
