A water color painting of the Walter P. Temple Mausoleum, ca. 1920s. The painting shows the the mausoleum and its front entrance, surrounded by a green lawn and trees. Colors used are gray, beige, and green. Toward the lower left corner are the names of the architects Alfred W. Rea and Charles Garstang and their office location in Los Angeles, as well as the name John V. Koester, the artist of the painting. The art piece may have been commissioned to celebrate the completion of the structure. The mausoleum was dedicated and blessed by Bishop John J. Cantwell in April of 1921. With moderate soiling mostly on the reverse, creasing, and abrasions along the edges, it is in good condition overall.
