Description

Color: Orange A pair of silk Berkshire stockings, ca. 1920s. The light orange colored hose is very light in texture with reinforced heel and foot. At the heel is stamped: "BERKSHIRE / BEMBERG" and at the toe is stamped: "BERKSHIRE / STOCKINGS." At the top is the original tag with an image of a woman within a stylized octagonal, Art Deco-like design and the words "BERKSHIRE / STOCKINGS" below. Above this is "FULL FASHIONED." With the tag still attached, these stockings have never been used and are, therefore, in mint condition, with no indication of wear or damage.
