A pair, right is a) and left is b), of crocheted ladies' gloves, ca. 1900, believed to have been owned by Lucille C. Workman [Buehler Montenegro], daughter of Joseph and Josephine Belt Workman. The gloves have a tight, scale-like design on the fingers and hand sections and a have a wider, fan-like design on the wrists. Each has a single mother-of-pearl button and a loop clasp of the same material the glove is made from. The left glove has a loose thread on the index finger, but otherwise the gloves show little evidence of wear or damage and are in good condition.
