Description
A photograph of Palm Avenue, Longstreet Homestead, Los Angeles, ca. 1890. The image was taken by Frederick H. Maude, Los Angeles. The unpaved driveway is lined with palm trees, belonging to the residence of Lucy Longstreet, the widow of the estate's builder, New York clothier Charles A. Longstreet. At the end of the drive is a partial view of a two story house. There is an ink inscription at the bottom edge. The item is in good condition overall despite the minor discoloration and minor warping of the mount.
