Pamphlet for "The Townhouse," issued by United Pacific Securities Corporation, 1929. The large-format, very expensively produced portfolio from the company presided over by Edward L. Doheny, Junior, advertises an exclusive, high-end residential building on Wilshire Boulevard overlooking Lafayette Park and features architectural drawings of interiors and exteriors and much information on units and amenities. It is also inscribed by company vice-president Laurence S. Howard on 30 January 1929, a little more than two weeks before Edward (Ned) Doheny, Jr'.'s murder. The structure survives and is known as the Sheraton Town House. With foxing and edge wear on the wrappers, but clean pages, the overall condition is good.Lexicon
